My husband and I did this several year...Great idea! My husband and I did this several years ago. To date we have saved several thousand dollars and haven't missed our cable at all. Netflix has thousands of movies and television shows that interest everyone in the family. We spend more time playing games together, watching content appropriate shows and reading as opposed to watching hours of brain-draining television.
